Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest within the Latin mainstream. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. He released his debut long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. Later in 2021, he performed on a duet TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. In interviews, he referred to his participation in music as compulsory. As a child, he played the ukulele guitar and piano. Although he initially wanted to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban singer would alter his direction in life.
