Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson Both lawyers. She was moved to Oxfordshire when she was five years old and attended at the Dragon School. Emma's dream was to become an actor. When she was 6she was enrolled into the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch in which she was taught classes in acting, singing and dance. From the age of 10, she took part as the lead in numerous Stagecoach Productions and School Plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 film adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel was published in 1999. Emma was discovered by agent via her Oxford teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been picked for these characters. Emma was chosen to play alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first film on the screen came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone which was released in 2001. The movie beat all previous records for its opening and weekend ticket sales, and it was the highest-grossing film of 2001. The film was praised by critics, as were the performances of its three young actors. The Daily Telegraph in Britain, which is widely distributed the newspaper, described her performance as outstanding. Emma got five nominations in recognition of her impressive performance. In the end, she received the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress of an Film.
