Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. As a child, she was exposed to lots of classical music and old Boleros. She also listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. Her mother taught her to sing, but she began more intensive vocal training by Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions singing traditional Latin American Music. She is involved with many local projects, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm of music and art. Ana was a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
